Editor’s note: Once upon a time, we tried to start a blog. The year was 2009. The blog was called “Kant Touch Us.” It shut down in 2010. We saved some of the posts however. Here’s one of those gems, originally posted in June 2009.
Tonight after Em got off of work, we decided to go to Best Buy and Target to pick up some things for the house. For some reason, we decided that we EACH needed a cart to push around. We were probably obnoxious because we took up a good portion of the aisle wherever we went, pushing our red carts side by side in the main aisles. In the smaller aisles, we went tandem.
One of the things we really wanted to make sure we got today was some chairs for the front porch. We decided to check out the chairs in a bag in the camping area. Of course, we had to test out the chairs to determine their comfort level.
Before we knew it, a good 5-10 minutes had past with us taking up the entire aisle, sitting in the chairs and gabbing up a storm. All of the sudden, Em started laughing because she realized how long we had been sitting there – like we were having coffee or something. Who does that?
On a side note, Emily decided to get a youth-sized chair, while I opted for the oversized one. It is oooooohhhhh so comfy and both have room for an ice cold beer. (Hint hint to all house guests, we love Spotted Cow. I’m just sayin’).
